New York artist, Kurt Perschke, brought his celebrated RedBall UK project to Weymouth and Portland and it brought crowds to a number of different locations in the Borough, pictured here underneath Town Bridge’s arch near the Rendezvous Pub in a picture taken by local resident, Gerry Walkden.
RedBall UK has been granted the London 2012 Inspire mark,meaning it’s an innovative and exceptional project that is directly inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The ball, which has been on an 11-year journey around the world, is on it’s way to London’s South Bank where it will remain until July 1.
