The great thing about Weymouth as place to live and go on holiday is the amount of fun things to do for families, couples, day trippers and holiday makers – all within a relatively short distance of the town. You could easily spend most of the day visiting the Sea Life Centre and Adventure Park (which has sand world, Go Karts & the Cresta Run next door too.) – in fact the beach at Weymouth is so good its worth visiting for that alone – you won’t find a safer beach with nicer sand anywhere in Dorset! Weymouth’s town centre has all the leading high street brands such as – M&S, Next, New Look, 02, TK Maxx, Game and Debenhams. There’s a Cineworld, PC World, Mc Donalds and a KFC too.

ThereĀ used to be a Condor Ferry over to Guernsey and Jersey if you wanted to add an extra aspect to your visit, but fear not there is still more than enough to see in Weymouth. Theres the famous Nothe Fort, Sandsfoot Castle and of course the amazing sandy beach. If its raining or perhaps you are looking for things to do indoors in Weymouth you could visit Brewers Quay or the Sea front amusements. If you like fishing then Weymouth is a mecca for all types of sea fishing. The stone pier is ideal for beginners and expert fisherman alike to catch a variety of species. Kids can have fun using crab lines over the side and in the summer the Mackerel come in close to the pier and beach for anyone to catch who can cast out some feathers.
