Sunday saw a beautiful boat set sail with children from Revive Portland on board, the boat was the 62ft Morning Star of Revelation which has a Ferro-Cement hull and timber spars rigged as a Gaff Ketch. On board there are 14 people;
- 9 Children from Revive Portland project
- 2 Leaders with the children
- 2 part time volunteer crew
- 1 skipper – Colin.
Colin first sailed on the Morning Star when he was 15 back in 1982, a year after she was launched, and he fell in love with her. He sailed on her many times after thatas a watch leader and finally now as Skipper having gained all the necessary tickets during his time in the Navy.
