Sarah de Warren is from Langton Herring and went to school mostly in Weymouth and finished off at Bryanston.
She busks in Weymouth, Dorchester and Bridport and has been appointed by the Arts Council to be an official busker in Weymouth during the Olympics!
Sarah entered the national Live and Unsigned competition this year – the largest competition of this type in the UK – and out of 12,000 entries, has qualified for the Grand Final at the O2 in London on 14 July.
Her qualifying performance in the Area Finals, supported by Charlie Raines on cello and backing vocals, also picked up an award for Best Original Song for her song ‘Tear It Up’.
Running alongside is a youtube exposure award, where the four acts that attract most views of their Area Final footage are shortlisted to appear on the Main Stage of the Relentless Boardmasters Festival in August.
Sarah is currently in the top four and we’d like to keep her there so that she is at least shortlisted, watch the video and help Sarah’s dreams come true.
