Massive well done to every one that uses the boxing club from the Ladies keep fitter’s to the hard -core Boxers and its impressive to see the time and dedication you all put in.
And well done to the Coaches and all the back room staff and officials.
As an Amateur Club we always need funding for kit and equipment so if you know any one or would like to Sponsor the club in any way it will be greatly received (not just funds but raffle prizes and your time to help out)
We have had 2 of our own very successful Weymouth Boxing shows at our new venue at Redlands Sports Hub and our next show there in Nov this year will be an England v Wales International Boxing Show, it will be an outstanding show.
Reflecting on the Clubs impressive season once again it’s been busy and outstanding.
Once again we have all travelled thousands of miles up and down the country to boxing shows with over 35 bouts under the boxer’s belts.
And to top it all we have 4 Western Counties Champions in the club, 1 Senior with Steve and 3 x Schoolboys in John-jo,Toby and Liam, Steve also boxed against the Army & the Navy for Western Counties and won both times.
As a club we again are going from strength to strength and look forward to a busy summer of training open once a week on Wed’s and with ladies boxing once per week on Mondays and with the new Boxing Season starting on Sept tue 7th.
